Ajay S. Kalotra is the President and Chief Executive Officer of International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI). In this role, he provides strategic leadership and management oversight across IBTCI’s work in monitoring, evaluation, research, learning and capacity building; institutional support; risk management; and procurement. He is actively engaged in thought leadership and business development related to facilitating IBTCI’s contributions in international development. 

Prior to joining IBTCI, Mr. Kalotra served as Head of the U.S. Office of IDEAglobal, a financial research firm, with operations in the U.S., U.K., and Singapore. He spearheaded the business to business and business to consumer global sales teams as well as the U.S. based traditional sales team to sell side and buy-side institutions. He also managed acquired companies’ integration into this global group of companies.

Mr. Kalotra serves on the Board of Directors of the Coalition for Racial & Ethnic Equity in Development (CREED) and is a member of the Board’s Fundraising Committee. CREED is committed to building racial and ethnic equity (REE) within the organizations that work in international development and in the sector.  For several years, Mr. Kalotra has engaged with   Karuna Charities, a grassroots charitable organization that supports women’s empowerment and the educational needs of disadvantaged youth in the U.S. He has led fundraising activities, most notably through its annual golf tournament. 

Mr. Kalotra earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cambridge University and his Bachelors of Arts (BA) in Economics from the University of Virginia.
