Alex Wagner

Alex is a recent graduate of the Global Human Development master's program at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service. At Georgetown, he explored the intersection of climate change, human security, and governance. His capstone project with Conservation International analyzed green-gray infrastructure (GGI) policy solutions across the world. He also conducted internships with USAID's Center for Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG), the World Bank's office in Nicaragua, and a humanitarian NGO in Honduras. Prior to graduate school, he was a community economic development volunteer with the Peace Corps in Colombia and a fellow with a development laboratory called Root Change. A native of Virginia, he holds a B.A. in Economics and Spanish from Bucknell University. He is fluent in Spanish and learning Portuguese.
