Special Screening of Award-Winning Surinamese Film "Wan Lobi Tori"Oct 26 2006 - 10:30am Oct 26 2006 - 12:30pm To commemorate United Nations Week, SID-Washington, in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organization (Regional Office of the World Health Organization), the Department of Global and Community Health and the Center for Global Studies of George Mason University present a screening of the film Wan Lobi Tori, "A Love Story," followed by an expert panel discussion.
Wan Lobi Tori is an "edutainment" project - combining education and entertainment - focusing on HIV/AIDS, youth, and reproductive health. This 40 minute film is a production of Projekta/CAST2 productions for PAHO/WHO.
