The Washington D.C. Chapter of the Society for International Development is pleased to announce its Ninth Annual Career Fair.

The career fair will provide opportunities for entry-level professionals and mid-level professionals to advance their careers.  Graduating college students and recent graduates are encouraged to attend to learn more about the industry.

SID-Washington's Africa Workgroup, in cooperation with SID-Washington's Gender in Development Workgroup, invites you to a discussion on the role of women in promoting good governance and democracy in post-conflict African countries. 
 
Please join us to hear Carla Koppell, Director of The Initiative for Inclusive Security; Dave Peterson, Senior Director of the Africa Program of the National Endowment for Democracy; Corey Oser, Senior Community Development Specialist at Women for Women International; and moderator Deborah Prindle, Senior Democracy and Governance Specialist at AECOM International Development, discuss how women's leadership contributes to the development and stabilization of post-conflict societies in Africa.
