Byron Radcliffe

Byron Radcliffe has over 11 years of experience in the field of international development. Mr. Radcliffe currently holds of the position of Senior Vice President and Director for Development and Planning at the Academy for Educational Development (AED). In this capacity, Mr. Radcliffe is responsible for coordinating overall business development for a very dynamic and diversified organization, which operates in more than 250 programs worldwide and in all 50 U.S. states. Prior to being named Vice President for Development and Planning, Mr. Radcliffe served in various other capacities with AED, most recently as the Vice President for Bids and Proposals and a Senior Contracts/Grants Manager. Prior to joining AED, Mr. Radcliffe was a Senior Contract Specialist for NRECA International, Ltd, which undertakes rural electrification development projects in Bangladesh and other areas world-wide. In addition to these positions, Mr. Radcliffe has held various development and financial positions with for-profit and non-profit firms. Mr. Radcliffe has been a SID-Washington member for eight years and holds a Master of International Affairs degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
