Health System Data Analysis Via the Internet

Jan 9 2008 - 12:00pm
Jan 9 2008 - 1:30pm

Please join SID-Washington's development information workgroup for a presentation on health system data analysis.

Shakeb Afsah and Eric Ness of Performeks will demonstrate the Health Systems 20/20 Data Analysis Site which provides key health systems information for any country. Various analyses, including peer country comparisons and simple regression analysis can be easily conducted and used to support policy discussions and decisions. This session will also explore broader issues and implications with respect to allowing policymakers, donors, researchers, and others perform real-time analysis of large and complicated data sets via the web.

Health Systems 20/20, led by Abt Associates Inc, is USAID's global health project to address health system barriers to the use of life-saving priority health services, and strengthens health systems through integrated approaches to improve financing, governance, and operations, and building capacity of local institutions.
