Tim Kernan

Tim Kernan serves as the Managing Director of the USGLC. He manages the day-to-day operations of the USGLC, coordinates government relations efforts and implements initiatives to build bipartisan support for the International Affairs Budget. Previously, Tim served as Chief of Staff to former U.S. Representative Clarence D. Long (D-MD), who was Chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Foreign Operations. Additionally, he has served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Representative Bart Gordon (D-TN) and on the professional staff of the exclusive House Committee on Rules. Most recently, Tim held positions of increasing responsibility at Fluor Corporation, a USGLC Leadership Circle member, and among the world’s largest engineering and construction companies. During his time at Fluor, Tim served as a senior Washington lobbyist, director of the global marketing group, as well as the Chief of Staff for Chairman and CEO of Fluor.
